Motivating Employees

It is possible for managers to motivate employees by using both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Making job tasks and requirements that employees need to meet and complete that having a feeling of being something that is fun or self-enjoyment for the work force to complete are incentive to keep completing tasks. Ultimately the main incentive for jobs is to get paid and if the job is more fun to complete the employee would have that much extra motivation to complete required tasks. Intrinsic motivation means the motivation of the tasks being just the tasks they are but also being tasks that employees look forward to completing. For management making a method of an interaction involved with required job tasks to help make an activity inside of the job, when the employees can work toward completing goals with others and have a friendly game or a sense of doing something greater than just completion of the job. Motivation of employees to feel that the job being completed has a big

Management vs. Leadership

What are the best aspects of individuals that make a leader? The definition of what a leader is has been discussed and wondered upon for a long time in business, life in general and many other situations that happen throughout the lives individuals have. Management believes that when they find what it is that makes an average manager into a great leader their organizationally performance and production levels will improve and increase and personal career goals will be accomplished successfully. (McGraw-Hill, 2011) A leader is a motivator, a person in position that is not necessarily a management role but still goes above and beyond the expectations of the company. A leader is an individual who compliments others work and influences other to get the job done better each time, without a leader production levels can be very low and employee moral might not be as strong and job positions could be lost and gained often without a teamwork feeling quality and leader to look upon to follo

Ethics Theory

The similarities and differences between virtue theory, utilitarianism, and deontological ethics are all important parts of a person’s moral standards and will help to define how the individual person will present themselves in living. Virtue theory or virtue ethics is the measure of ones belief in the better good and providing an example of excellence in that belief. Virtue ethics are moral and non-moral but the individual is aware of these standards. A person’s virtue ethics a defined by what the person will do excel in all things good and how those actions are perceived by those effected. Utilitarianism is the concept of doing what is best for a team or group over what would be ideal for the individual. The team player example is the best example of utilitarianism because the team player or leader will make a judgment call down the road of an event or series to place a better member of the team in the game or a better play call be used instead of the play that they would cho

Demonstrative Communication

Demonstrative communication is a method presenting ideas that compliment you vocal speech. Since all communication is derived from sending and receiving messages, these methods assist in advancing a vocal presentation to have better appeal and relationship building characteristics toward an audience. Demonstrative communication includes nonverbal communication and unwritten communication which include methods including eye contact, body movements, gestures and emblems as well as playful interactions, facial expressions and tone of language. It is important when making a presentation that you always be aware of and understand the audience in which you are speaking to, knowing the audience can help a presenter be able to know what forms of demonstrative communication to utilize and implement into the presentation. Knowing the audience, having the accurate information and building the relationship are the foundations of a presentation I believe because without those aspects in the

Ideal Love Explaination

I wrote that poem, on a day when I felt happy for no reason.  I could feel that a love inside of me was still alive and had a desire to find the true partner I have dreamed about for so long.  I swore I could feel something, a connection with someone that I could not touch or even see.  I don't know what to think about it or call it, even define it as being.  I just know she is out their, I have wanted a chance to do something to prove myself to a woman that I can earn her love.  My ideal love would be a passion and a beauty that in my mind does exist, but is difficult to find because it is a journey we both must take, its not about how she looks as I find every women to be beautiful, I truly do.  It is something that we build together with the love we have, honestly and true.  That is hard to find, for most people do not have the time to put in the effort that you also put in, it has to be equal.  I have had many times I was so close but because of the past issues I have had with

Ideal Love (Poem)

Her love is like the air over the Indian Ocean, blowing across the pink sands of Anse Source D’Argent, captivating in the moments of a blue moon, full under the night sky. Like a fire lite in banked distance of the islands when wind, water and earth combine in seconds before the sun rises.  New planets born every time the motion of the universe drifts and the stars adapt to the changes in her smil e, and her eyes forge a destiny in the spirit of passion grown from Greek legend. From the faith of the women that remain to the man, that pierced 12 axes, saying that he had made the bed himself and it can’t be moved as of its legs are that of a live olive tree. Her image unequaled even by masterpieces of portraits painted and sculptures sculpted from history’s grand masters. Beauty so magnificent blinding like the sun, her soul full of life like the spring after winters passing, her story is sacred text forever remaining engraved through millenia. Renowned more from gem stones desired deep
